National Urban League President Morial Meets with President Obama on Deficit Plan

WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 16, 2012) -- National Urban League President Marc H. Morial meets this morning with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden to discuss deficit reduction and strengthening the economy.
Morial is one of several representatives from civic organizations, including the NAACP, the National Council of La Raza and National Action Network.Morial sent a letter to President Obama the day after his re-election urging a sensible and responsible approach to deficit reduction, with a goal of one dollar in revenue enhancement for every dollar in spending cuts.
