Using the same risky financial maneuvers that led to the 2008 economic collapse  - and consequently, the Dodd-Frank financial reform legislation - JP Morgan last week posted a stunning $2 billion loss.

While nothing could demonstrate more starkly the need for strict oversight of the banking industry, politicians in Washington inexplicably continue to push for repeal of the reforms.
